Maven Transit — Privacy Policy

• We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any other personal profile information.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
• Your device location is used only on your device to show nearby stops and your position on the map. It is not stored on our servers.

Location (optional).If you grant permission, the App uses your device's location while you are using the Appto (a) center the map on you and (b) highlight nearby stops. Location is processed on your device and by the Google Maps SDK to render the map. The App does not transmit your location to our backend or retain a location history. You can use the App without granting location access; you simply won't see the "my location" features.

Locally stored preferences. Your favorite stops and saved trips are stored only on your device (Android SharedPreferences / iOS UserDefaults). They are not uploaded to us and are removed if you uninstall the App.

Anonymous service connection. To read the published schedule and live vehicle data, the App connects to Google Firebase (Firestore) using anonymous authentication. This creates an anonymous, app-scoped identifier managed by Firebase. It is not linked to your real-world identity, and we do not use it to track you across apps or services.

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials
• Payment information
• Contacts, photos, messages, or files
• Advertising identifiers or analytics/tracking profiles

Network connections to Firebase use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

The App relies on:

• Google Firebase (Authentication + Firestore)— anonymous sign-in and read-only schedule/vehicle data. See Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

The App is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Because the App has no account and does not store personal data on our servers, there is no personal profile to delete. To remove locally stored favorites and saved trips, delete them in the App or uninstall it. For any questions, contact us at support@mavenmachines.com.
